One of the minor features of the RSS module is a link stripping capability. This setting will remove any link-outs and leave the anchor text for all content that is brought in through an RSS feed. RSS feeds are set up individually so this setting can be on for one RSS source, and remain off for another, providing you with flexibility as you create your automation strategy.
