BlogSense automatically tags each post if your autotagging setting is set to on.
There are 4 methods of auto-tagging.
- Yahoo Terms Extraction API – BlogSene will use this api and the content of a post to discover relevant tag phrases. This is the strongest of the auto-tagging features.
- Titles to Tags – This will use titles of posts to generate single word tags while eliminating irrelevant words.
- Custom Tag Database – Use a custom comma delimited list of tags. BlogSense will select a random number of tags from this database at random.
- WP Tags Database - Use only random tags already found in your wordpress tag database.
In addition to AutoTagging, you can also create typos out of tags. If ‘Add Tag Typos’ is toggled on, then two tags are randomly selected and typos of those tags are generated and added to the original tag set.
